OUR SERVICES NOW INCLUDE PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL TESTING.
Pathways For Change now offers testing and assessment for ADD/ADHD, learning difficulties and disabilities, IQ achievement, behavioral concerns and more. If your child is struggling in school with low focus ability, low academic achievement, or an inability to grasp core concepts, contact our office to set up an initial consultation to determine if testing is needed. Children who have an undiagnosed learning disability struggle daily in school to keep up with their peers. This can lead to an oppositional attitude, low self-esteem, social problems, and behavior problems both in school and at home.
We will work with you and your child as a team to provide comprehensive evaluations, clear and easy to understand reports, and thorough consultation and advocacy to facilitate the implementation of assessment recommendations.
Our reports put your child, rather than the diagnosis, at teh center of our treatment plans and goals. We will provide realistic recommendations which are consistent with your child and your family's actual resources.
Our assessments can pinpoint attentional problems with or without co-existing learning disabilities. Our results will get you and your child going on the path to success.
We identify and treat for the following:
*Childhood depression and anxiety disorders
*Pervasive developmental delays
*Learning disabilities
Psychological assessment and consultation at Pathways For Change can help parents and guardians to:
*Develop a parenting style which matches how your cihld learns best
*Understand why your child is not performing at his/her full potential at school.
*Access educational and social supports which your child may be entitled to such as special education, in-home services, IEP's, etc.
*We can be a second opinion for you and your family when other psychological assessments did not meet your child's needs.
